Thank you to our supporters and donors of
Stix n Pix , we have been able to purchase the following items to support Bauer 1st Shift Program and Pond Hockey Sundays.
- Rink 1'x2' divider boards being used for small area games, skills & drills. These divider boards will have advertising sliders in them that businesses can rent space in. (please email
[email protected] for more information).
- We have 4 smaller sized real nets for the sessions, focus on development age appropriate playing equipment.
-
Stix n Pix is also proud to announce they will be donating 50 - 4oz Blue Pucks to each Center since the OMHA has now made a Policy, that each minor hockey association purchase these pucks for all IP programs. They will be handed out shortly to each association.
Follow us on Facebook and or check in with our website and look for
Pond Hockey Sundays. Most sessions will take place in Norfolk County's Talbot Gardens in Simcoe. This will be a trial run, and we welcome all ages at the beginning. Organizers will have the right to trim numbers down if need be and will do so by age. Our focus is on grass roots hockey. Minimum equipment required - CSA approved helmet, gloves, stick and skates.
Unfortunately we will have to charge a price per head because the county is charging us for prime ice which is $185/hr. any excess money goes back into the Stix n Pix fund to continue this program.
Thank you to Norfolk County, and all our Sponsors & Donors for helping to make this possible
See you at the rink...
