Community Grant Program - Update
Stix n Pix was very pleased to receive 8 applications to the newly announced Community Grant Program.
The committee was very inspired by the diversity of the
applications.
In considering all applications, the committee used the
following criteria:
1) Does the application eliminate financial barriers for
Norfolk families in the areas of music or hockey participation?
2) Does the focus of the request involve Norfolk children
3) Is the application complete in all the information
4) What is the impact of the program for Norfolk children
The committee is very pleased to announce that we will be supporting a funding request from St Bernard of Clairvaux School for their playground.
The committee feels that this project will impact many children in the years to come to enjoy the benefits of physical exercise and out door play.
All applications have received direct feed back on the merits of their applications.
Stix n’ Pix will continue to accept applications to the grant program in 2020.
