Thank-you to Scotlynn's Staff, for your Amazing ideas, and Donations to help StixnPix get kids 5-12yrs old in Norfolk the support they need to play hockey and/or music in our community! Greatly Appreciated!
Please read how they came up with the idea to give back to the community....
The fundraising for your organization started with an idea from one of our staff to start a jersey day each week in the office. We had staff donate each week in order to wear a sports jersey of their choosing. We had a number of activities and ways for people to donate money to Stix N Pix during this time. As the NHL playoffs went on we asked staff to save bottles and cans for a bottle drive. There were some yummy snacks available to staff upon donation as well as a shoot out competition. There was a sign up sheet and shoot out held outside where staff could donate to enter the competition.
The social committee at Scotlynn cultivated and ran these events in hopes to give back to our community. Our office raised $600 in staff donations throughout this period.
We are very grateful to be able to give back to our local community, especially during these hard and confusing times.
